Michelle saw a need for the homeless insulin dependent diabetic population in Las Vegas, NV to have a means of keeping their insulin cold. She worked with the Homeless Outreach Clinics in Las Vegas to accomplish this project. Michelle was able to receive a government grant for her Masters Thesis/Project which provided the homeless with personal cooling mechanisms to store their insulin. Her research and work has been published at Touro University and has aided in increasing funds through a homeless grant which is administered by the Schultz Engel Purpose Trust. She is looking forward to providing the same quality service and care for Southern Utah.
